That’s a great question. There are so many “opportunities” on the internet, and it’s challenging to see the clear difference. There are many opportunities that can provide quick cash, but no lasting future. There are also some that are outright scams.

best-selling books on the topic, as well as approximately 20,000 medline articles supporting the science behind our products.
Our products are patented and proprietary. This is very important, because you wouldn’t want to waste your time representing a product if your customer could purchase something similar for less money

How do I know you’re legitimate and not another scam?
The moms at SmartMomsOnly™ represent a legitimate
ten-year old research and development
company* based right outside Dallas, TX. If you’re ever in the area, you’re more than welcome to take a tour … and you’ll definitely be very impressed. There are more than 300 employees working
on our behalf so we can do our jobs better. We have a research laboratory second to none, and a product line that is validated in scientific literature .. as well as listed in the Physician’s Desk Reference.
Our parent company is a proud member of the DSA (Direct Seller’s Association

What’s expected of me?
We represent a company* that sells cutting edge, patented, highly-effective and safe nutritional products.
Our company spends no money on advertising, but instead pays regular people like all of us to market their products.
Our job is to get information about these products and our home-based
business opportunity to as many people as possible. We do this using the
internet, over the phone, in person, etc. Our parent company provides us
with very high-quality promotional materials, a free website**, 24/7
toll-free recorded messages and training segments, dvds, cds, catalogs and brochures. We use these materials to educate people, and when they want to purchase our products, we show them how to do so right from the company.

What
is the start-up cost?
There are currently eleven different starter pack options for you to
choose from. Prices range anywhere from $99 to $1,195 (plus tax &
shipping), depending on how serious you are.

How much can I expect to earn?
That’s a great question, and a difficult one to answer. It’s difficult because what we don’t know is how serious you’ll be about your business. There are moms earning several hundred dollars a month, and moms earning many thousands of dollars each month. Some have even replaced their family’s entire income!
There is no ceiling, so you can earn as much as you’d like. Here’s something
important to consider ...
If you treat your business as a hobby, you’ll earn a “hobby” income.
If you treat your business seriously, you can earn more than a full-time income on a part time basis.
It's totally up to you!

Are there any
non-cash incentives too?
Yes, absolutely. Our parent company* recognizes that we are their
greatest asset, and they want to reward us for our efforts. There are many

What will I actually be doing?
Once again, that depends on what you like to do. Do you want to market on the internet? If so, we’ll help you do that. Do you know a lot of people who you’d want to share this information with on a one-on-one basis? If so, we’ll help you do that. Would you like to build your business locally, or perhaps in another place you’ve always wanted to visit (or live)? If so, we’ll help you do that.
What you’ll be doing, regardless which method(s) you choose, is getting information out about our products to as many people as possible. When you locate people who are interested in what we have to offer, you’ll provide them information to review (via the internet, brochure,
dvds, cds, whatever you choose). Once they’ve reviewed it, you’ll answer any questions they may have (with your
SmartMom mentor, of course), and when they’re ready to purchase the products,
you'll show them how to do so right from our parent
company*. You’ll receive a financial bonus for your efforts, and monthly commission checks as these customers continue to take the products on a monthly basis.

How long have you been in business?
The company we represent has been in business since 1994, and the founder of
SmartMomsOnly™ has been with the company since 1996. Many women have been members of
SmartMomsOnly™ while it operated “informally” for the past six years, however, the official debut of
SmartMomsOnly™.com was in March of 2002.

What experience is necessary to become successful in this business?
No previous experience is necessary. What is necessary, however, is a belief
in what our products can do for people and the desire to succeed. If you come with those two ingredients, we’ll teach you everything else you need to know.
Once you register as an associate (at any level) and view the testimonial videos in the private area of our corporate website, you can’t help but be very excited about what our products can do. In addition, when you begin to learn
about all the third party validation there is to support what our products do (including medical textbooks, scientific journals and about 20,000 medline articles), you’ll be even more excited about this.

Will I need to keep an inventory of products?
Because products are shipped directly to your customers from our parent
company*, you do not need to stock an inventory.

Do I need to have lots of office equipment?
Some people have built very successful businesses without any office equipment at all, however, if you want to conduct some of your business on the internet, the only things you’ll need are a computer and a telephone.

Sure you can! When you first start out, you might want to rely on “reaching out methods” that have people coming to you, rather than you approaching them. Who knows? You might even end up shaking off some of that shyness in this business. It’s happened to lots of us!

Will I be expected to
sell to my family and friends?
That’s probably the biggest concern most people have when considering any type of business where products are being sold. No, unlike some “party plan” type businesses where the only thing you can do is market to family and friends, you do not need to do that in this business.
However, we have to forewarn you. Even though you don’t need to rely on family and friends to have a successful business with
SmartMomsOnly™, when you discover what
our products can do for people, we have no doubt you’ll think of some friends and loved ones you’ll
definitely want to share the information with!

I’ve been involved with a party-plan type business before, is
it anything like that?
No, our business building method doesn’t even resemble a typical “party plan” business, however, if we’re working with a
SmartMom who likes conducting “parties”, we can help her build her business that way as well.

What kind of support will I get?
You’ll work very closely with your SmartMom mentor via email and phone,
and join lots of other SmartMoms from around the world on our weekly
training conference calls (all from the comfort of your own home, of
course!) There are also two other live Toll-Free calls each week sponsored by our parent
company* that you'll
be listening to and learning from as well as inviting your guests to
listen to.
Besides that you’ll receive 24/7 support via the web and toll-free recorded calls. All associate sign-up packs come with a very informative “orientation cd” as well as other training materials. The private “associate only” area of our parent company’s corporate website has just about all the information you could ever
want right at your
fingertips, accessible twenty-four hours a day!
You’ll also have the full support of over 300 employees at our home office who

I’m
not very creative, but can follow instructions well. Can I succeed at this type of business?
Absolutely! Although we never discourage creativity, this is not the type of business where you have to “reinvent the wheel”.

I live in a very remote area. Should I give up the idea of a home business?
